Laozi aka Lao Tzu

Laozi, also romanized as Lao Tzu was a Chinese philosopher and author of the Tao Te Ching, one of the foundational texts of Taoism. The name, literally meaning 'Old Master', was likely intended to portray an archaic anonymity. A central figure in Chinese culture, Laozi is generally considered the founder of Taoism.

Understand this if nothing else: spiritual freedom and oneness with the Tao are not randomly bestowed gifts, but the rewards of conscious self-transformation and self-evolution. - Lao Tzu

Integral awareness is fluid and adaptable, present in all places and at all times. That is true meditation. The Tao is clear and simple, and it doesn't avoid the world. - Lao Tzu

Without stirring abroad, One can know the whole world; Without looking out of the window, One can see the way of heaven. The further one goes The less one knows. - Lao Tzu

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like. - Lao Tzu

Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you. - Lao Tzu

The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness. - Lao Tzu

Health is the greatest possession. Contentment is the greatest treasure. Confidence is the greatest friend. Non-being is the greatest joy. - Lao Tzu

Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream. - Lao Tzu
