Why do you waste time praying? The answer is to make yourself feel better by pretending you did something when you did nothing. Praying works exactly the same as ‘making a wish’ does for kids. Sometimes life brings you what you want and sometimes it doesn’t. Why would you not trust your magic God to already know what to do to ‘heal the land’ or cure someone’s cancer, or make it sunny for your barbeque on Sunday? Will you change God’s mind away from his Divine plan. - Unknown
